Sorry, I don't know anything about the Spark. The Elantra is all right. Mine was a lemon, but I'm sure a brand new one would be good. I have to recommend a Corolla, though. Not the best in snow, but I get fantastic mileage.

A Corolla, huh? I'll have to look into that one. Do you know if there are Corolla hatchbacks? I've realized that hatchbacks are generally better for what I have to do for my job (toting servers around, they seem to fit a bit better in my coworker's Kia Soul than they do in my ancient Ford sedan). I'll definitely look into a Corolla, though.

Hell, if you are going to look into a Corolla, then look into a Honda Fit. I own one and I love the everloving shit out of that thing. Its a hatchback and it is glorious. And its a honda, so it holds its value. The seats fold completely flat and I was able to put a dishwasher back there with room to spare. They are also incredibly easy to fold down and back up.

I swear if that car ever turned into a human, I'd have to divorce my husband and marry the car. That's how much I love that thing.

Although if you are a tall person, like 6 feet or more, probably not the best choice.
