Love gag reels. For me, I always get disappointed if the dvd to a movie doesn't come with a commentary track. I always wonder what is their mostly likely cheap, lazy excuse for not having one. (Like Nolan won't do commentaries because he doesn't "want to ruin the magic movies." Oh, come on. If my eyes could roll any further, I'd see my brain.)

God yes! I get so pissed when they don't have them. If you are a comedy, you have NO EXCUSE. If ER can release gag reels, so can you!

Not the point of your post, but you reminded me that I loved the ER gag reels (especially the early seasons with Noah, George and Anthony). Gonna have to go back and watch them!

Have you heard the commentary to Suicide Kings? I'm actually torn half the time which I'm going to listen to, the film or the commentary. It's hilarious. The same for the drinking commentary on Eurotrip. They're drunk not fifteen minutes in. It's far too much fun. YAY COMMENTARY!

Yup! The Stargate SG-1 DVDs spoiled me for every other tv set, because every single episode, pretty much, had a commentary. Sometimes it was just the lighting director and the costumer, or something else I wasn't personally interested in, but I appreciate how much content those dvds have.
