It is a great adaption, but it always creeped me out that the actress was 14 while filming, so she couldn't see her own film as it contained a nude scene (her scene).

It would have creeped me out more if Polanski had directed it.

The movie was rated "A" back in 1968, which meant that she had to have an adult with her, which she did.

Funnily enough, she would have been "of age" if the premiere was after April 17th in '68, as she would have been 17; but the premiere was in March.

Umm, thanks for this? I knew she was at the premiere. My comment was about how she was not allowed to watch her own film legally. That is the sketchy part.
