back in my day, there could be 30+ secrets per post

I remember those LJ days. And sometimes you would have an interesting secret or two. Nothing has really changed. Just the amount of secrets. Not the quality of them.

what do you think makes an interesting secret?

Something that has not been stated over and over again. More personal story secrets than, "I don't like it when people like X."

Like, fans of thing X or just anybody who likes thing X? I'm sorry I'm really curious

For me, I prefer personal confession secrets like, "When I was little I did such and such embarrassing fandom related thing" to "If you like such and such, I judge you." Because most times those "I judge you" secrets have been told before again and again. Usually resulting with the same comments. Nothing new is discuss. Nothing new is created. It's boring, for me.

Actually the last few weeks have been fairly quiet, barely hitting that 1k average, but that might just be an exams lul.

Summer vacation lull, actually. Most of the USian colleges have let out, and F!S always drops in activity around that point. It'll pick back up again in late August.
