My sister had to have emergency gallbladder removal surgery today. :( She had like 30 gallstones! I am going to spend the night in the hospital with her. So I am not going to post the question I was going to post today because I will not be able to answer.

doctor said she will be out of work only a week. So not too bad.

Ooh, that was me last year. I commiserate. The pain is absolutely dreadful. Good thing is that it's a relatively fast and safe surgical procedure, the recovery is a quick process (1-2 weeks, tops), and there will be minimal scarring left over.

I was actually going to say that the morphine/pain killers was the absolute best part of the entire thing, but I thought that might seem improper, lol.

It really was, though. I felt like I could *fly*, man. It was awesome.

She is mostly scratching, being scared by every loud noise, and asking every nurse what her blood type is.

Oh. Well, I guess everyone reacts to pain killers differently. My sister also had her gallbladder removed and she used to get so angry when she was on morphine. She used to lash out at us so they eventually switched it for something else. It was so weird because I always felt like I was floating on clouds.

Anyway, I'm really sorry to hear that. :(
