A friend I first through fandom and fell in love with, just got together with another fanperson, that I do not like at all. When they told me, I totally flipped my shit. Now I wonder how obvious my until-then secret feelings have become for everyone... and if the situation could get any more shitty.

I suppose it depends on how you were told. If it was "OMG, Anon, I'm with X now and everything is puppies and rainbows and happiness and YAY! :D!!!" they probably didn't know.

If they donned the kid gloves, you weren't fooling anybody. And there's always room for more shit, but you'd be better served focusing on moving on rather than on how it can all get worse.
