In general, I'm more paranoid about my brother's safety than my own. I've read and watched so much fiction, and in it, whenever something horrible happens to one of two siblings, it's always the brilliant, multitalented one who was "going places". That's my brother. So I'm constantly worried that he'll get into some accident or something whenever he leaves the house. That his bright career in basically anything he could ever dream of pursuing will be cut short by tragedy.

I hate that you can be bound for great things and then have it all torn away in one moment.

This is real life. Your brother's potential has no bearing over which one of you gets nailed by a bus, hit by lightning or any other type of accident you're envisioning thanks to fiction.
