I don't think she's the strongest actress but I still liked her on Once and I feel like they wasted her character potential. Maybe it's for the best for her to leave, the show needs to organize itself a little better next season.

I mean, the show does need to learn to focus, and I *guess* centering even more around the Charmings, Regina and Gold was a way to do that, but damn, way to sideline a character with a lot of potential. (This could be said about several of the characters, really, but I just wanted to see more lady bonding times that didn't involve the most awkward of TV families.)

You're not alone (I have a friend who's very much in your boat, though Ruby was her fave), but I definitely think the show can go on with her. Ruby was great, but I feel like they could have used her more (same with Archie, my fave).

I liked her a lot too. You may be picking up on the lack of focus/direction change of the show. In the first season, it focused more on the women and I liked that. This season, not so much--the new characters tended to be male and if popular stayed around (Hook for ex)--the women characters were either written out (Aurora and Mulan (extremely popular both as individuals and as a femslash couple)and Ruby for ex.) or evil (Tamara--and how original is that? a poc female villian. *rolls eyes*). And the story lines were much more focused on man!pain and men (like we've never seen that before) than on the women unlike the first season.

Is it official she's gone? Last I heard both sides were very willing to work her in since both shows film in Vancouver.

Obviously her acting leaves a little to be desired, and I've never been especially fond of any of the characters she's played, but goddamn that woman is beautiful to me. I love her teeth - she has so MANY of them!

So I can get over a lot of problems with her acting/characterization as long as she keeps smiling that absolutely gorgeous smile.

I quit watching this season because I hated all the focus on the Main Six and Hook, so knowing she's gone has made sure I won't tune in for season 3.
