Yeah, I really don't know what to expect for the 50th with this final twist.
Also I found the last image so embarrassing with the text appearing on it... I don't even know why they thought it was a good idea.

About Jenny's "fake death" (the first one, where Strax ressurect here with science) : On one hand it was seriously ridiculous but on the other I'm happy because I'll be able to continue laughing at the people thinking Moffat is a ~monster killing all the characters~.

Yeah that "introducing John Hurt as the Doctor" was weird... It jolted me out of the story very quickly.

I wasn't even really invested in Jenny's death, so there was like no suspense for me. I don't dislike the trio, but I don't really like them either? I guess that's how I'd describe my feelings.

Oh yeah, I enjoy the trio most of the time but that's just because they hit tropes that I like.
There was no suspense for me because I was 90% certain Moffat wouldn't dare to kill her.

Jenny's death was really.... Silly. It was good for a bit of an emotional punch in the gut, but then they went and resurrected her in under a minute (I mean, the process took that little time. "Can you bring her back to life??? Do it!!!" "Yeah sure *beep* there you go lol")

I mean it's the season finale, it can't hurt to kill one or two people off, especially when those monsters GI had with him were....what were they, exactly? What was their point? IMO, Jenny's death could have at least made them more scary (then again, Moff just can't let go of his spin-off idea, of those three being the Doctor's only gang when holy shit, they didn't even TRY TO HELP AT ALL when he was dying? They just stood there all wut)

And imo, JennyVastraStrax are really boring and pointless, so I would have been 100% on board with one of them being killed off.

Those monsters were like some sort of Silence 2.0, only even more useless.

I mean, weren't the Silence supposed to be at Trenzalore? Why create whole new characters?

It's been so long that I can't remember.

What exactly is the Silence's connection to Trenzalore and what did that have to do with their plot to kill the Doctor?

"The Silence shall fall when the Question is asked."

But... what was the question?

Was it supposed to be asked at Trenzalore?

The question is "Doctor Who?", right? And that did happened in The Name of the Doctor.

But how did that lead to the Silence's downfall?

Or is the fall of the Silence something that has yet to happen???

I am so confused.

You know what, I tried to answer this question below, but I think I just confused myself even more.

Er, didn't humanity kill off all the Silence because they interfered with the Moon landing broadcast and had the Silence they held captive hypnotized everyone who watched the Moon landing into killing them.

/but-then-what-about-all-the-world-that-still-didn't-have-TV-in-the-60s-Moffat-etc. So I guess that they could have brought the Silence back if they wanted.

Oh lord, Jenny's death. At first, I was like "Wow. Moffat's going to finally kill off a character? No... No, he'd never do that."

And lo and behold, I was right. :\
