Fanboys hate anything that isn't what they consider "sexy". I've had fanboys complain that I made an evil character look EVIL (and not cute and innocent or whatever they're fapping to) and I've had them telling me to draw characters in a way that are completely out of character.

And that bugs me, I don't care if someone wants a sexy drawing or fap material, but when I draw my own fanart (you know, for ME) I like drawing the characters accurate to their personality.

Draw whatever you want but don't try to make your way of seeing characters fanon or even canon. When "why is she a nigger?" was at it's peek they would even not shy away from real people anymore, starting to complain about actual non-white, non-skinny, non-big boobed people cosplay as the characters.

"Maybe if XY swapped heads with ABC and Z's nose was smaller, then-"
I wish I was making this up.
