I agree with what's been said.

1. Tons - but mostly due to added flavoring or mixings.
3. I like it because I don't think it adds a super distinctive taste when it's mixed with juice, soda, etc, the way rum and tequila do.
4. I've only had it straight when it was flavored, and then I still preferred to add some club soda because it's pretty strong.
7. Only if you add soda, or it's a hard cider or something. Sparkling wine. Most cocktails with vodka etc are not.

I like lists :)
