basically, this. (although i wouldn't say they're there SOLELY to provide sexual appeal - sometimes they can get killed off to provide angsty backstory for the male superhero!)

sarcasm aside, i thought this was really damn obvious? apparently not.

Because saying that a woman can't be a superhero based on how she looks isn't also misogynistic? It's one thing to point out unfortunate trends in female superheros (waif-fu needs to go), but it's entirely another to say that women (or people in general) can't be strong without having bulky muscles.

Scarjo isn't some tiny stick figure in the movies, she's obviously fit - she's just not She-Hulk.

And this pretty much fits with the character, the character's background and the character's preferred fighting method - aka using an opponents strength against them.

Additionally, just because you want more buff superhero women, doesn't mean it's okay to shit on the not buff ones.

Wanting more She-Hulk doesn't mean you have to treat Black Widow like crap.
