I'd agree with you if we were talking She-Hulk or maybe Carol Danvers, but Black Widow's not exactly the tank of the group. Even if she was muscular, she'd probably be more lean in keeping with her theme of stealth and agility.

There's also the fact that her lack of physical strength compared to the rest of the Avengers was explored in a pretty interesting way, particularly in the scene where she's trying to escape the Hulk. It's pretty clear that she's scared shitless, but she uses her brain to get herself out of there until backup arrives. Plus she's still useful, capable of taking care of herself, and doesn't constantly need to be rescued so that the male characters can prove how manly they are and get rewarded with smooches. That puts her above 95% of female characters in comic/action films, IMO.

I would like to see more superheroines who don't have an idealized, tiny build that makes no sense with their powerset, but I don't think Black Widow is the best character to criticize for not being swole enough. I guess we'll just have to wait until they make a Glory movie.
