Eurovision is an annual contest held every year in Europe. There's a singer for each country, with campy clothes and cheesy pop songs, and then everyone votes. This guy was for Romania and sang something about love with a voice that I didn't... expect...

Ah, that makes sense! I knew it was a singing contest but that's about it. To my defense I don't pay attention to talent contests in my own country, so...it's not like I'm trying to be ignorant. Hehe.

Every year a country in Europe hosts a gigantic gay party where each country sends somebody to sing a cheesy song. Deranged dancers, bizarre costumes, and some truly incredible sets complete the night. After every country has performed the second half of the evening begins. That's the part where everybody ignores everything that's just happened and votes for their neighbour/home country/oil provider. Then the country who can best afford to host it next year is declared the winner.

We do this instead of war.

Lately some countries with quite dodgy human rights records have been let into the club. We're hoping to reform them through sequins. This is literally and definitely part of the legendary gay agenda.

I think the idea is to keep them in storage for a couple of years, and then bring them back, all super hot without the hair gel. If fandom hasn't thought me nothing it's that nostalgia and twincest is an unstoppable mix.

For five seconds I thought you might be Romanian are you, I can't tell? xD because that dark sense of humor is a country-esque heritage and we all flaunt it so well.

TL;DR Best description of Eurovision yet but you've forgotten to add that lately some countries have started voting for some surprising non-neighbors all of a sudden and it's confusing to not see close knit countries always kiss each other's asses as per usual.
