I stopped watching The Following a couple episodes before the finale. Er, I actually didn't mean to; I had too many shows set up to DVR on the day it aired so I tried DVR'ing a rerun later in the week. I got some local music show instead. I was already weeks behind and pretty damn uninterested so I just said fuck it and didn't bother catching up.

Ugh. Me too. I have two episodes left to watch on my DVR and I really can't summon enough to care and watch them. It got so boring and I stopped caring about the characters.

I feel you man. By the time I stopped watching I liked Bacon's female partner and Bobby Drake...and that's about it. The whole 'house full of insane people' thing was getting old, as well as the 'these cops can't do jack shit'.

You didn't miss much. I watched til the end because I wanted to give it a chance to round out the plot, but for a show about serial killers The Following is pretty boring.

It disappoints me because the show has great acting talent and the previews made it look like something I'd love, but I just got bored.

It does! Acting alone does not make or break a show, though. At least I never had high hopes for it; I started watching on a whim.
