I want to live in Newford, from Charles de Lint's books. A beautiful city, with cool magic, animal spirits, mythology and music and beauty and awesome people, and it doesn't have anything too crazily harmful. Or at least, nothing much worse than what our world has already. I guess you run a greater risk of total annihilation, but you also get the possibility of hanging out with the Crow Girls. That's a trade-off I'll take.

Well. You can always try Ottawa (ISTR that's what he based Newford on, but I may be wrong), though you won't get all the cool urban fantasy creatures, unfortunately.

But the cool urban fantasy creatures and weird magic is the most attractive part!

Ottawa does seem like a lovely city though.
