Life imitates fandom

If you had to pick one canon universe (magic is real, space travel, historical, whatever) to replace the real world (whether you're in the fandom or not), what one would you pick?

I know everyone's expecting me to say something like Blade Runner or whatever so I'll skip that and say I wouldn't mind living in a world where Kentucky Route Zero is a real thing.

Marvel verse. Specifically MCU. Awesome tech and actual superheroes. I live in the boonies so I doubt villains will be attacking my town.

The world of Moomins because I have wanted to ride clouds ever since I read about them doing it (and not even in the actual book, in the comic book adaption). Also, nearly everyone is nice there.

First choice = Star Trek.

Second choice = Discworld.

I think the problem with a lot of universes is that they're actually like our world but only a small percentage of people are special. And if you chose one of those universes to replace this one, chances are you're not going to be part of that special group. It's like being in Harry Potter/ATLA and not being a wizard/bender.

Astro City.

Superheroes! But also, just a legitimately cool place to live, a place where people seem to get along. And, I think, a much less terrifying and a more positive place to live than either of the Big 2 superhero universes. It feels more personal, less like a terrifying landscape of gods and legends where you're likely to get crushed by a bug - it feels like there's more space for ordinary people who aren't superheroes to live. And overall a lot more positive and uplifting and less frightening than Marvel or DC. Where superheroes are more an entertaining element of everyday life than anything else.

I want to be a companion...

I want to live in Newford, from Charles de Lint's books. A beautiful city, with cool magic, animal spirits, mythology and music and beauty and awesome people, and it doesn't have anything too crazily harmful. Or at least, nothing much worse than what our world has already. I guess you run a greater risk of total annihilation, but you also get the possibility of hanging out with the Crow Girls. That's a trade-off I'll take.

Star Trek (NOT AU). Also, not now Star Trek because that sucked too (as seen in DS9). Lets replace now with the 23rd century.

I can't believe no one said this yet: Hogwarts dude!

I would love to go to Hogwarts (or well the Scandinavian version and do magic!

When I was younger I also always wanted to be a vampire slayer, but I wouldn't want to live in a world with Vampires and have no kind of defence against them...

While the Star Trek, Star Wars, Firefly, Girl Genius, Potter, Discworld and Pokemon 'verses are all incredibly tempting, ultimately I'd have to pick the Kingdom Heart multiverse, based solely on the chances that I could:

A) Become a keyblade master
B) Befriend all of the PCs.
C) Steal an Org. XIII coat and wear it just to look like a sexy badass.
and D) Acquire a Gummi Ship and possibly fly to/visit other multiverses.

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. It's just so... idyllic. Plus there's the opportunity to fly and do magic, etc.

Barring that, the Teen Wolf universe, based entirely on the fact that it's apparently set in a world where bigotry of all the normal types doesn't exist.

POKEMON

Because I like cute critters. Also, every civilian in Pokemon is nice, and every antagonist is just a dick who either needs to be shown the error of their ways or shipped off to space (in the case of Team Galactic).

I don't even think I'd be a badass trainer or anything, I'd just be one of those random NPC-types who has a Pokemon helping them do menial labor.

Revolution, because I feel that a place without everyone constantly relying on electronic devices for their day-to-day lives, where they're actually forced to be useful or die, would be nice. Honestly, I'd probably be of more use in a world like that than the one I currently live in.

......Or Redwall. Going on sword-swinging adventures is still one of my many dreams. Even the baddies always got to be badass and swing around a spike on the end of their whip tails or had hypnotic eyes or something cool like that.
