So start *reading* sci-fi? Seriously, there's a lot of sci-fi that explores really controversial topics like that [and several others]. However, they'll never be on network tv because well...it's controversial - more so than most of the 'controversial' stuff they're willing to put on the air.

There is a big difference between reading it and seeing it, and it doesn't seem unreasonable to wish for something you see often in one medium to appear in another one.

I wasn't saying that there isn't a difference between reading and seeing. However, if you can't find what you want in one medium [which is the OP's problem] looking for it in another is the next best thing.

Ah, so true. I kind of interpreted the secret as the OP wanting to see what they were probably reading about (which is largely biased by the fact I want to see what I'm reading about). Looking at the secret, though, it's easy to see why a lot of people might be looking at it from the other direction.
