I can't blame you, anon. I'm getting better at shooting games because I play Fallout 3, and I love getting headshot after headshot to the point where I put myself in more dangerous situations than I probably should. It is very satisfying.

Interestingly enough I've played FPS games for a very long time and I abuse the shit out of VATS in that game, unless I'm doing something extremely long range (I am dangerous with a sniper weapon.) Probably because the actual shooting mechanics are clunky to me.

It's true, VATS is really helpful when I get overwhelmed and can't seem to focus enough to shoot. Actual FPS don't have that option.

NV's a far sight better, yes, particularly with the addition of iron sights. I still abuse VATS, however.

Similarly, nothing turns me on more than blade kill of the stealth/sneak-up-behind-someone-and-kill-them-with-one-stab variety. Seriously, I have a problem.

I've actually practiced my aim for this sort've thing as it tones my scope reflexes. Try playing on RE6 No Hope with Piers Nivans, especially, and you'll learn to make every bullet count in that mode.

I guess turning on is weird, but there is a weird rush you get when you execute a good headshot, and then a little thing flashes saying you got a headshot. It's very satisfying.

I don't enjoy sniping quite to that extent, but man there's nothing like the satisfaction of pulling off a perfectly timed headshot.

I always preferred sniping, but I think that's because I'm a coward at heart and afraid to let enemies come anywhere near me!
