(Anonymous) 2013-05-25 03:50 pm (UTC)(link)Anyhow I'm not sure what you mean by meeting him? If you met him as a fan you can still see him as a character and enjoy that? If you met him through RL, being introduced by friends or similar, then yeah, that's a killer of being able to continue the fan thing. I've had the thing of knowing an actor IRL who is a fan favourite, I just happened to know him before he got the big sci fi gig, although he was a known actor before that. Anyhow I find the embarrassment of anything to do with him painful, I never participate in any discussion online about him, or even about his character.
