So, basically you're a judgmental fucker. I have never smoked in my life, never want to, and don't like to be around people who do. However, there are some characters I cannot help but see as smokers, even if it's not canon, and if I write them in fics, I'm liking to throw in a line about them having/wanting a cigarette as a flavor detail.

Same here, same here. Smoking IRL is pretty nasty, but for some characters, it's kind of hot and you can totally see them being smokers.
