It's also notable that yaoi usually refers to porn (although some people use it in a more broad sense for nonpornographic manga with the same themes), and slash can be either porn or not.

Yaoi = PWP, Shounen Ai = Fluff/Angst, BL = the whole genre of written-(by-women)-for-women homosexual animanga. Bara isn't included in that umbrella, I think.

Don't quote me on this, but I think the term shounen-ai has been more or less phased out. I haven't seen anyone actually use it since my days in Trigun fandom some ten years ago, though that could just be that I'm not in the same fandoms anymore.
