I've seen someone similar. They go from "I liked this" to "I loved this" to "I really loved this". It always makes me smile for some reason - like they don't know what to say but they want to say something, you know? I think it's sweet.

They probably don't. I used to do that until a lot of fic authors whined about it enough and that stopped me (and others) and now they wonder where all the comments are! lol.

I can tell you in detail where you went wrong, give constructive crit, grammar edits, whatever, but, unfortunately, when I like something I just.....like it, love it, really like it, etc. I have a hard time putting my finger on it, usually, of what I loved about it. Sometimes I can figure it out. Sometimes I'll point out sometimes I really loved about the fic, but, I'm generally clueless about analyzing stuff I love.

DA, but I don't mind repeat "loved it" comments bc lbr, my precious ego. My problem is when the comment is so... like there's this one person who comments on a fic I'm following and every time it is just "thanks for writing this chapter". I can't even articulate why it bugs me but I'm sure it's just me being weird. I've never been annoyed by a non trolling/hate comment on my own stuff though.

DA, but I certainly don't mind "I really like this" comments. As far as I'm concerned, that means I'm doing something right! I don't need to know exactly why you liked something I wrote unless you want to tell me, and if you can't figure out how to word it or what to pick out, just letting me know that you enjoyed it is a perfectly good response.
