(Anonymous) 2013-05-26 12:16 am (UTC)(link)I don't mind shipping or sticking with an adaptation over an original. I do mind claiming said adaptation is canon compliant when ... no, it isn't really.
If you enjoy Sherlock on its own merits and get a kick out of shipping John/Sherlock, more power to you. Just ... don't tell me the show is the most accurate adaptation of ACD canon. Because I will laugh at you. Or possible rant for a while on how it really, really isn't.
