I feel like there's something wrong with you. Not because you're such "a horrible person" but because you'd gone to all this length to hide a fake Internet identity, when there were so many better ways you could've played this. Ultimately an Internet identity is not such a big deal; you could've admitted it to a select few you felt were close enough to deserve the truth, and continued faking it for everyone else. I think the only thing left for you now is to let go of this unhealthy, irrational guilt and just put this all behind you.

Yeah, deleting all their fanfic because of one comment that wasn't even along the lines of "you sound like so-and-so"...bit of an overreaction. I mean, it's all overreaction, but that bit was like the icing on the cake to me.

I know it's rather unfair of me, but that's the part that loses sympathy with me - deleting all of her fanfics. How many people online loved and adored her fics and are now broken and sad that they're gone?

I say this as a person who is practically addicted to fanfic and only a few days ago was almost spitting chips because I lost a recently gained link to an old LotR fic I was craving to reread. (Google saved me, I found the fic again. It is still as good as it was when I first read it.)
