F!S Anon Meme (the ??th)

Secrets, rants, opinions, anything you want to say about your fandom or a fandom or fandom in general, do it here! Anonymously, of course. Get it all off your chest.

Some ground rules:
1. Going anon is encouraged but not absolutely required (for those who struggle with recaptchas and stuff).
2. No autoplaying/autolooping embeds, or embeds that cover/stretch the screen.
3. No dropping personal info or IRL contact info, etc.

That's about it, though!

(Today's post is below.)

As much as I'd like Dany to end up there (mostly because she's the only character with a shot that I like that isn't dead yet), I have to say that your prediction doesn't make you a bad feminist - the atmosphere of the books and its treatment of women are probably more to blame than anything flawed in your feminist ideology.

Whoever said that that makes you a bad feminist is pretty stupid.

But then again, I don't think a woman is going to end up on the Iron throne either. And worse, I definitly don't want Daenerys as Queen of Westeros. I just think, that would not work out very well in the long run. (So yeah, by this standarts, I am an even worse feminist.)

Wouldn't that say more about GRRM w/r/t feminism than it would about you?

Gave up on the series a while back, but is there any female option other than Dany?

there's been a surge of support for sansa though a lot of them also just favor her ruling in the north

IDK...the way the writers and producers of the show treat Dany, I think on the show they'll want to push for her to become queen. But who knows? GRRM is the ONLY guy with the power of deciding who will take the iron throne.
