Secrets, rants, opinions, anything you want to say about your fandom or a fandom or fandom in general, do it here! Anonymously, of course. Get it all off your chest.

Some ground rules:
1. Going anon is encouraged but not absolutely required (for those who struggle with recaptchas and stuff).
2. No autoplaying/autolooping embeds, or embeds that cover/stretch the screen.
3. No dropping personal info or IRL contact info, etc.

I resent DEEPLY that my friends got into Marvel fandom and won't stop talking about it... five years after I left it.

I'm not into Marvel, but I have the exact opposite problem! Years ago literally everyone on my flist was raving about Doctor Who and Firefly. What felt like the minute I got into each of those respectively, they all stopped caring or stopped posting anything on LJ. I still have DW and Firefly fans on my flist, technically, but they never want to talk about either show.

ngl, I fucking hate when this happens, especially if I tried to get them into it before.

A similar thing sort of happened with a game site - I tried to spark my friends' interest in it, but they only noticed when another mutual friend started raving about it. Now they're all HUGE fans and I can't go back to the site because I resent it for a variety of deserved and undeserved reasons.

Well, here's the question: comics or movies? Because if you tried to get them into comics and they only became interested after seeing the movies, that's a sadly common problem.

Yeah, my friend's in full-mode Supernatural obsession while I'm over it. This after I spent years trying to get her to watch it while I was still a fan and she was like noooo it's too cheesy for meeee. Hate her 4eva.
