F!S Anon Meme (the ??th)

Secrets, rants, opinions, anything you want to say about your fandom or a fandom or fandom in general, do it here! Anonymously, of course. Get it all off your chest.

Some ground rules:
1. Going anon is encouraged but not absolutely required (for those who struggle with recaptchas and stuff).
2. No autoplaying/autolooping embeds, or embeds that cover/stretch the screen.
3. No dropping personal info or IRL contact info, etc.

That's about it, though!

I belonged to a group that was obsessed with finding the "truth" about a website's secret past. It started out fun but got... way out of hand, to the point where people were starting sockpuppets at other shipping forums and getting mad at site members for not liking us. Even the admins thought we were idiots. Some of them anyway.

SugarQuill, a Harry Potter fic site... I forget the whole story, it ended up being the dumbest "secret" ever, but it was something like a BNF at another site wrote a SQ mod into a really smutty fanfic where Ron cheats on Hermione.

In their defense, I think most of them knew it was pretty silly.
