What in your fandom life are you most embarrassed about? Because once you're in fandom long enough there's got to be something that you look back on and just facepalm about.

I made up song lyrics for the Harry Potter series using the tunes of Digimon opening songs.

I was like, 10, but still.

...Why is that embarrassing? I'd listen to those.

Would you really want to listen to songs a 10 year old wrote? Would you, really?

Nayrt but I sure would! Axe Cop is written by a kid, and I've certainly loved rock songs by them (Osaka Popstar did one about bugs).

A few years ago I thought it would be cool to build a fursuit and walk around wearing it...
Building it was lots of fun but now I'm embarrassed it exists. However, I'm too proud of my work to just throw it away.

You ever have sex in it?

I used to RP as a wildly-OOC AU version of a certain character. And I went on and on about my version of the character in out-of-character discussions, too, because I thought he was just so interesting.

One of my major fandoms when I was a teenager was an RPS one. I actually ended up doing some work in that particular industry - my country's comedy scene - and met a lot of the people I used to write horribly cheesy teenage-girl-attempts-to-write-grown-men-and-fails-miserably fic about, and that pretty much shamed me out of it.

(It also makes me seriously wonder about some of the people who are STILL involved in it. Seriously? You think writing graphic porn and darkfic with shit like rape and drug abuse and self-harm about REAL PEOPLE is okay? The fuck?)

I started out writing for Yu-gi-oh.

(And when I switched to more "serious" fandoms I got a new pseud, now emails, new LJ / DW and pretended for quite a few years that "that other person with the lame pen name" wasn't me.)

!! Yeah, first was a MS as well, with Sacred Prostitute with Healing Vag. posted VERY briefly, then hidden for many years (though I did put it up for people to read and laugh at a few years ago, after writing a few dozen stories for the fandom).

When I was 13 or so, I was one of those "slash is ew" fangirls because of my indoctrination at a religious school.

Thank god I got over that.
