Some ground rules:

I have to go to work and for some ridiculous reason dreamwidth is blocked as "social communication" but I can access facebook, twitter and youtube.

Doesn't work anon, I've tried that and many others. I had it working for awhile then they changed the program blocking things again and I haven't wiggled my way around it yet :(

Try using http://www.frogtunnel.com/ to get around it?

I can't exactly remember this one, but go to google maps (if you can access them), write down an address and then let google search for it. I think you can access the internet like that.
