Spoilers for recent Bleach chapters.

The more time that goes on the more I hate him, but it seems like all the people where I hang out absolutely love him.

He blatantly, habitually lies to people in ways that are actually detrimental to their health, neglects his children in important ways, and abandons his duties repeatedly. A couple quippy (I think stupid) remarks don't erase or negate those kinds of character flaws.

I don't care if people like him, but I am so sick of hearing about how "flawless", "awesome" and "badass" he is without any sort of critique on his behavior.

I'll admit to being stupidly charmed by the character, but damn is he a shitty father. At the very least, why doesn't he explain shit to Ichigo? Oh wait, that would require Kubo to put some effort into his work.
