Yeah he says, basically, "You got nothing left." (She'd been fighting with a sword, and it got knocked away by that point; her friends were hospitalized, she'd been kicked out of school, was wanted by the police, etc.)

And she says, iirc, "Wrong. I've got me."

(Tears me up just typing that, it does.)

(The only moment I like better is the reprise of that in S5's "Checkpoint" where she throws the sword past the guy's face and says "I'm pretty sure I said no interruptions."

It always seemed, in some ways, a callback to the S3 premiere, "Anne", as well. When you're saving the world, apparently the lesson you have to learn most often is that the iron in your spine is only strong if you make it so.

And I'm ok with that, because even as a regular person going through regular life I have to remind myself of that an awful lot.

"Becoming" was the season two finale, the episode right before "Anne".
