What, feeling sexually and physically confident? It doesn't matter about the con or if it was at a bar or even a party. She wants to feel good and dressing up is a safe way to empower her self-esteem. Women should not stop themselves from pursuing what they want provided it is not harmful to anyone or to themselves. If they have thought it through and will be safe, they should.

OP is worth so much whether she does it or not. If she wants to dress like Poison Ivy for a con, more power to her. And OP, just follow the advice here for how to deflect questions. Stay confident and amazing. ♥
