I pretty much agree with you. Most comedy gives me bad secondhand embarrassment. I can maybe get through a comedy movie once, but probably won't be able to stand watching it again. I even have trouble with movies that are not comedy per se, but have humour in them that bugs me when I watch it again.
The only comedy I really seem to like is British or Australian stand-up. British stand-up has a strong streak of sarcasm that Australian stand-up has inherited.
