I've honestly always loved the sequel more, but that might just be because I'm Australian and it's the only 2D Disney movie set anywhere near Australia. (Finding Nemo is similar because LOOK SYDNEY THAT'S MY HOUSE)

It really helps that the sequel is gorgeous looking and is quite well written too. The original is pretty good, though. They both deserve more love.

RDU was my favorite movie as a kid. My mom made me little eagle wings because I basically spent all day pretending to be Marahute. (occasionally I would switch it up to be Peter Pan)
