There are stupid birds living in our wall RIGHT NOW. The jerks come in through this hole and you can hear them in the bathroom.



Also growing up we lived in the country, so it was not unusual for snakes and such to get into our house.

I don't want to cover it up in case I do and there are still some in there. Or babies. I will end up having a bunch of dead rotting birds inside my wall. : /

Birds usually hatch in the springtime, right? You could possibly get the kind of covers they use for bats (that let them go out but not in) closer to wintertime, then replace it with a proper cap once they're gone...

You should probably still wait until the young ones have fledged though, or else the parents will be the only ones locked out, the young ones will starve and you'll have dead young birds in the wall... :(
