And I think there needs to be more of 'em. :) I sometimes dislike them, but I love, love, love some of them (even the "skeevy" ones) but esp. the ones that turn the trope on its head.

I wanted something that turned the trope on its head, because I don't like dismissing things entirely without sampling them, but ok, no, I now fully recognize they ain't my cup of earl gray. Maybe I'll be sounding like a damn SJW now, but with all the raping and sexism parallels going on with the trope, I will celebrate the day the craze goes down a little.
