I like reading the GoT wiki too. I think the back story for the characters and world GRRM created is interesting. I do watch the show tho. Haven't read the books, however (it's on my forever long to read list).

It's like... the book was SO BORING. I kept falling asleep trying to read it. But I can't stop reading about the elaborate backstories. My friends think of me as a kind of expert on the Tareygan dynasty because I 'remember all the obscure details' but it's really because I just love reading their sections on the wiki. The world building is so fantastically in-depth but the language is so dry to me. And I don't really enjoy keeping up with TV shows.

You have to give the book a few chapters to start getting better. Book 3 is AMAZING.

The last two haven't been as good, but it's worth it for the third book alone.
