I have the same issues anon, not having money doesn't help the issue either because it makes me avoid the doctor more.

The good news is I've found most eye doctors really don't behave like other doctors so they don't tend to scold about how long it's been or how you treat yourself. Eyesight changes regardless of how well you treat yourself, so all they'll be concerned about is getting you the right prescription.

Just find someone and make an appointment, I know how hard it is to force yourself but that's usually the only thing that gets me to do it.
