So while we're on about tumblr, I was looking through the sugar baby, sugar daddy, and sugarbowl tags (referring to a woman who is given money and expensive gifts in exchange for being an escort, just going to dinner, and/or sex. not the candy). It's a very interesting read. In a way this concept/practice doesn't seem that bad all the time, but simultaneously it makes me really uncomfortable. How does everyone else feel about this subject?

i guess it's cool as long as both respect each other and have at least some measure of affection for each other

If you are paid to have sex with a person you wouldn't have sex with otherwise (meaning without occasional payment), it's a form of prostitution, just with one client instead of several. Probably suits those people who don't want to have several clients/hookers or are afraid to constantly search for new ones.
