I've always done that. "Miss" makes me feel too young, usually too young to be eligible for filling out whatever form it is.

Oh geez. This is adorable, but you're kind of missing the whole point of "Ms" existing. The connotations have changed now, but originally it was a sort of political statement--a "you can't define me by my marital status" thing. That's why Ms. Magazine exists. It wasn't supposed to be about age.

Don't worry, Ms. People will still card you.
