Eye doctors are the best! I don't think of my eye doctor as being the same as other doctors because the office is really chill and he doesn't do anything with a stethoscope. An eye doctor won't scold you for anything because they're not worried about things like exercise and diet that you could be scolded for at a GP's office (even though in my opinion a good doctor shouldn't "scold" you at all). They just want you to be able to see! So don't worry - just make an appointment and you'll be much happier afterward.
