Who is this woman and why do people hate her? I tried googling it once and all I got were some vague trivia and facts. I get that she's obnoxious, but what did she actually do that made people hate her?

she's part of the musical duo the Dresden Dolls. she faked a suicide to show her relapsing drug addict bf how much it hurt her, recorded his reaction to finding her 'body' and used it in one of her albums (he also committed suicide not too long later i believe). tried to pay musicians on a tour in hugs, though after the backlash she got from it they were retroactively paid. evelyn and evelyn, and other things i can't remember rn.

I don't necessarily want to say that she drove her ex to suicide, because that's kind of presumptuous, and if he was turning back to drugs in the first place there's a good chance there were some other issues in his life at the time. I would change that first comment if I could edit it to phrase that differently.

Maybe she didn't drive him to it, but I'd say she certainly had a hand in it. It's definitely possible that if she hadn't done that crap, he'd still be alive today.

And that's what I'm saying... you're using "maybes" and "I'd says" and "possibles" because we don't know and are just theorizing. And because we don't know, I'm uncomfortable making definitive statements blaming her for something like someone else's suicide, loathsome creep or not.

Neil Gaiman is an old man who's found a young(ish) woman who will bone him.

I have seen this play out time and time again. She's wonderful! Perfect! A princess! So much better than the hags his own age! (And then she runs off with his money after a couple of years and marries a man her own age.)
