I'm not at all sure what you mean by Sirius not caring about Remus though. They were close friends for a very long time and it seemed to me that after PoA they continued being friends.

I feel you, OP. My main fandom is incredibly judgemental when it comes to dark themes, creepy pairings, non-con and violence in fics etc. So it's wonderful how accepting the Hannibal fandom is because they're aware that fiction =/= reality. I wish my main fandom would realise that, too, instead of ship- and kink-shaming so much.

In all fairness, I don't get it when people are annoyed by Jar Jar but are in love with Chewbacca. They are very similar role- and character-wise, although of course the latter is less awkward and ridiculous.
