Not OP but it's not about him marrying a fan. It's about watching someone you admire do something really stupid and feeling let down by it.

I'm not his fan, never read any of his books. Heard about them but didn't take any interest. I'm here as a neutral party watching people go back and forth. But I thought it would be fair to point out what I said.
