...I don't think I've ever met someone who didn't like Chewie. Logically I know people who hate him exist, but it's hard to wrap my head around it.

IDK, maybe it's because of growing up with the character and how iconic he is.

I don't hate Jar Jar the way most Star Wars fans do, but imo he can be damn irritating. That said, people are annoyed by different things; your opinion is still valid.
