I grew up in a middle-sized town, where everyone learned to drive at 16, so I've always felt embarrassed I never learned (20 years old now). Learning about adults that don't drive makes me feel a bit better.
I remember reading how Carey Mulligan had to learn to drive for one of her films, and that made me feel good. A lot of British actors don't know how to drive I found, though.

*I should add I'm not saying there are a /ton/ of British actors that don't drive, I just have never heard of American actors who can't, but I have heard of a handful of British ones.

I'm 25, and my 16- and 18-year-old nephews both recently learned to drive. I'm mortified. Trying to get an old car fixed up so that I can learn. *hugs*
