I remember really enjoying R.O.D the TV, but it's been a while since I watched it and I can't remember why, except that I loved some of the characters. All the main characters are female, and there's a fair amount of subtext between some of the female characters, though iirc nothing more than subtext.

Dammit - I wanted to be the one to rec ROD. (See icon. >_>)

The Read or Dream manga makes the stuff with one set of characters less subtexty (still not explicit, but the implications are a LOT clearer), and has some for Maggie as well (poor Michelle gets nothing). The other set of characters with significant subtext don't appear in it - they get it more in the Read or Die novels, apparently. (Which I haven't read because they haven't been translated into English.)

The whole ROD franchise is pretty strong on the yuri, on the whole, but, IIRC, it's only Read or Dream and ROD the TV that deliberately do it.
