I am bothered by it but depending on how it's dealt with it might not be enough to make me stop reading/watching/etc.

For instance, if it happens in a tv show (especially if it's one that I've been with for years) I'll be irked but keep watching. I try to keep away from fanfic that includes it though.

And there's no way you're the only one.
