2. Dude, agreed. I grew up w/ that and the whole idea and Spike and all of them; it still scares the shit out of me.

18. I was just thinking.. I love how many non-anime secrets there are today.

19. TBH, the whole twincest crazy fans stuff took away any small desire I might have had to stop at the channel and watch a few minutes of it; to try it.

21. I'm sorry. Really. Because you do not sound at all like the basher from yesterday (a few days ago?) and you have every right to your opinion and every right to say you don't care for the books. It sucks when people around you make you feel like you can express that, even in a non-rude way.

I have that problem w/ shipping non-canon HP stuff.

22. I don't go there, but I know of a girl who probably goes there at least 3 times a day. But I think it's so healthy for her; she needs to vent and get out some of that rage. Jeez.

26. I'm very interested, if that helps. Here's 1 person! *raises hand* I'm reading them now. I think the movies are "eh" okay, but I'm so much more excited about the books.

Thank you so much. ♥ You have every reason to be excited - there are difficult chapters and some slow places, but if you can just delve into the world and experience it (and you won't have much of another choice if you actually use a bit of your imagination while reading) it is... magic. Not just of the written word, and incomparable to the movies.

It is frustrating. I know it's silly but I just worry about upsetting people.

Oh, it was just someone ranting about the books, but unlike you, it was not saying just why they disliked them, it was just plain bashing and rude. Like "The books suck. Get over it! blahblahblah" not respecting others' opinions.

Good first secret. And I hope it gets easier for you to say you don't care for them w/o the f-list getting mad. I like them, but I didn't see anything wrong w/ what you said.
